ADI Engineering Announces Enhanced MinnowBoard Turbot Platform for the Intel® Atom™ Processor E3800 Series
New MinnowBoard Turbot Is FCC and CE Certified, Brings Added Performance and Robustness
INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, SAN FRANCISCO, CA., AUGUST 19, 2015 – ADI Engineering, Inc. today announced a newly enhanced member of the MinnowBoard family called MinnowBoard Turbot, released in accordance with the MinnowBoard Compatibility Program. MinnowBoard Turbot is MinnowBoard MAX compatible but adds a higher performance Intel® Atom™ processor, FCC and CE certification, and new design robustness and ease of use features that support full-scale commercial usage by OEMs. The open-source hardware design is freely available under a Creative Commons license. ADI Engineering is showing MinnowBoard Turbot at its booth 355 at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) Fall 2015, September 18-20 at the San Francisco Moscone Center West. MinnowBoard Turbot is a powerful and expandable open platform for Intel Atom that allows endless customization and integration potential. The board features a dual-core 1.46 GHz Intel® Atom™ processor E3826, 2GB DDR3L, Intel® HD Graphics, micro HDMI, 1x Gb Ethernet, USB 3.0 and 2.0, and a Lure expansion board interface. Software support includes Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Android 4.4, Yocto Project Linux, Ubuntu, Fedora, and FreeBSD. The platform is currently sampling to early customers, with general availability in October 2015. MSRP is $139.
