Frequently ADI serves customer needs with Modified COTS products, modifying our standard products and pre-existing designs to meet the unique requirements of our customers. These Modified COTS products from ADI better balance production cost, feature set, time to market, development cost, and physical characteristics (size, weight, environmental tolerance, etc.) than off-the-shelf COTS products. Our flexible engagement model allows customers to decide how much or how little ADI does, and what the handoff points are.
