Pronghorn SBC is a high-performance, low cost, standards-compliant router board for WISP, OEM and system integrator applications in wireless mesh, access points, hotspots, and wireless subscriber gateways. Pronghorn SBC offers significantly higher performance, proven field robustness, enhanced standards compliance, and higher power radio compatibility than competitive boards, but at a very attractive price.

Based on Intel XScale technology, Pronghorn SBC is available in three configurations with a highly robust design that provides a real edge to wireless OEMs and service providers. ADI's unique industry-leading features include 6.5W per slot of continuous MiniPCI power availability, a simple path to system-level FCC compliance with high-gain antennas and multiple transmitters, 802.3af Power over Ethernet with 1500VRMS electrical isolation required by the 802.3 and EN50950 standards, spread spectrum clocking of the CPU for up to 10dB reduction in peak noise emissions, and full RoHS compliance.

Pronghorn SBC is supported by industry-leading software for municipal networks, WISPs and OEMs: WNP from RoamAD, IkarusOS from Antcor, WILI-S from WiliBox, MadWiFi, and OpenWrt. All are Linux-based software platforms enabling implementation of highly functional, secure and manageable wireless networking devices: CPE client bridges for municipal wireless and WISP networks, WISP infrastructure, hotspot access points, public safety, and mesh applications. ADI also provides a free Linux 2.6 kernel with MadWiFi support, and RedBoot.

Pronghorn SBC is a low-cost board available in the three following standard configurations. We can build custom configurations for volume purchases.
